Account settings in ScreenerHub are the controls for your identity and display preferences. Use them to change how your profile appears to other users, which language and currency the interface uses, and how monitoring notifications reach you. All settings are available at Settings, accessible from the top navigation bar.
Profile
Your profile contains the information visible to others when you share a screener or watchlist publicly.
To update it, go to Settings → Profile.
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Display name | The name shown on your shared screeners and community content. Can be changed at any time. Maximum 50 characters. |
| Bio | A short description of yourself or your investing focus. Optional. Maximum 500 characters. |
| Website | A URL shown on your public profile. Optional. |
| Location | A location label shown on your public profile. Optional. |
Your username is assigned when you create your account and forms part of your public profile URL (for example, /yourusername). Usernames cannot be changed after sign-up. If you need a different username, contact support — the team handles these on a case-by-case basis.
Preferences
Preferences control how the interface behaves for you across Browser, Studio, Watchlists, and the Monitoring Lab. Open Settings → Profile and scroll to the Preferences section.
Language
ScreenerHub is available in English and German. Changing the language updates the full interface: navigation labels, system messages, documentation links, and number formatting conventions. Select English or Deutsch from the dropdown and save.
The interface URL changes automatically — from /en/ to /de/ and back — so bookmark the version you intend to use.
Currency
Financial figures in screener results — prices, market caps, revenue, and similar monetary values — are stored in each company's native currency by default. Switching to a unified display currency makes it easier to compare companies across different markets without converting figures manually.
| Option | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Native (RAW) | Each company in its own reporting currency. Best for working with exact reported figures. |
| USD | All monetary values converted to US dollars. |
| EUR | All monetary values converted to euros. |
Conversion rates are applied at display time. The underlying data is always stored in the native currency. This means screener thresholds — for example, Market Cap > 1B — always compare against native values. Currency display is a convenience feature, not a filter input.
Theme
Choose between Light, Dark, and System. The System setting follows your operating system appearance and switches automatically when your OS switches.
Timezone and time format
Timestamps throughout the interface — monitoring run schedules, data freshness badges, and notification delivery times — display in your selected timezone. The default is UTC.
Use the timezone dropdown to choose your local timezone, and select 12h or 24h for how times appear.
Notifications
Email notifications alert you when a monitoring run completes and new results are available. Toggle Email notifications on or off in the Preferences section.
Email delivery is a Pro feature. Free users can toggle the setting, but emails will not be sent until you upgrade. For the full list of what each plan includes, see Plans and Quotas. To learn how monitoring sets work and what triggers a notification, read How to set up stock alerts.

Deleting your account permanently removes all your screeners, watchlists, monitoring sets, and profile data. This action cannot be undone.
If you have an active Pro subscription, cancel it first at Settings → Subscription → Manage billing. This prevents a charge at your next renewal date. If you are within the 14-day EU withdrawal period, you can delete your account immediately and request a full refund — see Billing for the process.
